Hutano Associates Ltd is an independent Occupational Therapy Consultancy, Dementia Care and Training provider. It was founded to provide high quality training to the Social, Health, third sector and all who look after people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, the disabled, people with acquired brain injury and traumas in various healthcare settings
We work with people with cognitive impairment, mental health, learning disability and/or physical disability to maximize their occupation in independent living. We are experts in assessment of function & improving independence. We show people how to do things differently, adapt their environment or provide them with equipment and personalize technology to meet their individual needs. We recommend equipment which improves people’s independent living skills & often results in less reliance on paid support.
Our clinical recommendations enable our clients to provide personalized & cost effective care packages.
Our holistic approach in our training services is designed to improve the lives of people with progressive illnesses, learning disability and/or physical disability as well as improve the quality of support they receive from their loved ones and carers. We provide bespoke moving and handling training for beginners who provide care support to their loved ones at home as well as for professional care providers.
Our aim is to improve people’s independent living skills & enhance care support outcomes when supporting people with cognitive impairment, mental health, learning disability and/or physical disability in care settings and in their homes.
